Follow Up #2

The people protesting the UPD in support of Andrew Meyer were annoying but relatively innocuous. I thought they were being stupid, but to each his own. Until this morning. The Alligator led with this story. This angered me so much that I would be willing to inflict physical harm on the people that did it. That officer was hit by a drunk driver while protected students celebrating a national championship victory. And no one will claim that the UPD (and GPD) didn't do a great job during those celebration. There were very few arrest and mainly they spent their time making sure drunk people didn't get themselves killed by falling off things. The UPD (and GPD) really shined during all three of those celebrations. When Officer Dahlem was killed, the entire university felt terrible. Defacing his memorial was sick and disgusting.

**GPD added since Officer Dahlem was a GPD officer, not a UPD officer thus making the graffiti even crueler.
