Los Campesinos - You! Me! Dancing!

Make sure you watch past the first minute that is when the song gets good.
"It is sad that you think that we're all just scenesters, but even if we were it's not the scene you're thinking."

I will have Noah Baumbach's babies

That is saying a lot considering I don't want kids. He is genius and so fucking cute.

Brief Review

I just finished The Brief and Frightening Reign of Phil by George Saunders. The book is brief and easy to read but moving and complex. I would recommend it to anyone. Not only is it good, but reading it will make you feel smarter.

Breakfast at Tiffany's Trailer

I like the pronunciation of Capote's name. And Audry Hepburn is certainly beautiful but poor George Peppard is not even touching her league.

Look at my internet power!

OH YES!. This is making me so happy.

Thank you to everyone who is helping out!

I wasn't going to post today

But then someone kindly brought this. Click on the valley images. They are NWS, but they are amazing. I saw this exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco and it cemented my love of pornography forever. It is so amazing and interesting and beautiful. I would love to go in to photography just to document things like this.

I might have posted this already, but I love this song.

Books I'm Reading Right Now

The Brief and Frightening Reign of Phil by George Saunders
Molloy by Samuel Beckett
Getting Even: Why Women Don't Get Paid Like Men--and What to Do About It by Evelyn Murphy and E.J. Graff
The Corner by David Simon and Edward Burns
What is Marriage For? by E.J. Graff

Things I Want:

Much like things I love only less passion, more desire.

1.

This watch is beautiful.

2.

This bike with a rear basket and other goodies.

3. This guy's whole life. That would be amazing. Not only would I be good looking and smart, but talented, employed, and living in San Francisco. What more could a girl want?

I need something

I would love to link from my blog directly to songs (just audio). Is there a way to do this? I want the people to be able to actually hear it, not just link them to iTunes or something else where they will have to purchase it.

Thanks.

Things I love:

1.

Mary Louise Parker

2. Math and Physics Club

Another neat-o site

Jump Cut is something that I haven't used but I could see being amazing. At first, I thought it was just iMovie on the web, but it looked like it had a lot of features not offered through iMovie (like being able to sample from public videos and such).

What you do to me isn't nice

My Firefox Browser is Acting Weird

I bought tickets to Andrew Bird in Atlanta this morning. There is a 50/50 chance I'll be selling them some time in August, but I am hoping everything will fall into place and I can go.

I got Last.fm

The last.fm radio function was down this morning, so I switched to Pandora and I like it a lot more. I suggest you switch. Just like Macs over PCs, I am picking it because it is prettier, more functional, and easier to use.

Achewood Rules My Life Right Now

This is, by far, the cutest thing I have ever seen. Plus, I am embarrassingly like Philippe.

Achewood

Cute and fun. I suggest you start at the beginning and read them all.

I'm going to San Francisco

While looking at ways to get into the city from Marin (the worst place to live in the Bay Area if you ask me), I stumbled upon this site which helps arrange transportation places. It is pretty neat.
I have started using last.fm, though I don't have an account yet. I looked at getting one awhile ago, but the majority of my in front of computer time was silent (at work) or in from of the TV (at home), but if I will actually be using it, I am going to look into it.

I'm very excited

I am going to buy myself a Questionable Content t-shirt. Here are the shirts. I am thinking I might wait and see if they make one that says "LOLBOTS" on it. It is the shirt Faye is wearing in the last few comics and I love it. I could just buy an American Apparel shirt and get that printed on there.
I think I am going to get the Pintsize playing guitar tee.

Lifted Directly

From a SomethingAwful.com thread:

Basically, solving all of life's grievances in a little chart.

I have decided

And I want to be an advice columnist. Like Stacey Grenrock Woods (Of Esquire). Only swearier. I would demand questions, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be good at it.

I also have a pretty decent idea for a computer program if anyone knows anything about developing programs. I would prefer it for a Mac (since that is what I use), but whatever.

Google is saving the internet

Orkut which has apparently been out for awhile is the most fun I have had online in a long time. I have too many websites. Seriously. I'm going to make an IILWY game about it.
Here is the thing: I have all the same friends on these sites. The whole point is to make new friends, right? (And promote myself! E-FAME here I come!) so I want me some new friends. I will accept basically any friends on anything except Facebook (where I have to actually know you).

I am having a lot of fun

With Some E-Cards. I'm sure the novelty will wear off, but right now I LOVE them.

New Things!

I am looking for a way to kind of link all my shit together. Facebook, Myspace, Virb, Blogger, Twitter, maybe IILWY. I'm not exactly sure how I could do that. Myspace I don't even use. I look at who had posted new blog stuff daily (mostly to see MC Chris' posts and band touring updates).
Facebook I use solely for people that sort of know me to keep up on what is going on. So they know I am alive, working, etc. Virb I am hoping will eventually replace Myspace for me, because it looks better and I enjoy it more and would prefer very much to trash shitty Murdoch-run Myspace. I love Blogger and Twitter.
i'm in like with you is getting a little boring. The same people are wanted by everyone and it becomes a kind of disturbing fight to get to the top of their list. The only people that bid on me are unappealing or already my contacts. I'm not sure how to rectify the situation. I mean, I think a lot of people get overlooked. I have a found number of profiles where the games ended at 0, but the game was cute and so was the guy. But I never saw it. I think the biggest problem is allowing people to list themselves as straight of gay. I guess, it isn't a problem. The people who limit themselves just have to understand that they aren't going to get seen. I'm really thinking on that though because I love the idea of flirting online and I have met really cool people through the site and I was happy when people were bidding on me. Maybe it is just because I have fallen out of favor.
Anyway, the point of this is that I got Tumblr. I KNOW! Another site, but this one combines my old ones. Hopefully, for the convenience of my readers. So far, it only combines this blog and Twitter. It just puts up the latest thing and if you're interested you can follow the link to more. I am hoping it will somehow work with all my things (except Myspace, which is the only thing I am actively trying to get rid of).
Finally, the company that makes Tumblr also makes a seemingly amazing product Senduit. I have a couple times lately needed to send files to a friend in Europe and this would have been a much easier way to do so. I have a feeling it will be shut down pretty quickly. I mean, this is perfect for illegal activity and honestly, that is all I have considered using it for.

**All the links at the top are to my page on the site. After that, it is links to the main page of the site.

I don't want to worry you

But I am getting sick of the internet.

Something needs to happen...

Broken Social Scene- Anthems

So a video. This cannot even begin to capture how good they are live.
Look at that dress!
I wish so badly I could see another show that good.

Finally, some good news

Kevorkian is out of jail today.
